Great Bedwyn C of E Controlled School, Wiltshire
Great Bedwyn School is a village primary school, and set at the heart of the rural community. It is a modern building with copious outside areas. Their reputation is for providing outstanding learning opportunities for all its pupils and for promoting a rich curriculum that enables pupils to grow and develop not just academically but physically, emotionally, spiritually and culturally too.
They contacted NBB School Shelters in need of a canopy to be attached to the outside of the early years classrooms enabling their outside play area to be extended. It was recommended that the most suitable shelter would be a Winterbourne Freestanding Shelter measuring L9250 x D4000 x H2750/2350mm, finished in white RAL9003. The school also had a couple of our junior picnic tables manufactured from 100% recycled plastic, they are guaranteed to last up to 25 years!
NBB worked with the school to provide the most suitable structure for their purpose. The installation took place during the school holidays so that there would be no disruption to the children during school hours. The finished shelter looks fantastic and covered by the 25 years life maintained guarantee it will continue to serve the school for many years to come!
